This mission of McLane Elementary is to provide a caring and inclusive learning environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. We are committed to delivering a high-quality education with high expectations for all, building a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Together, as a community of learners, we believe everyone can learn and be given opportunities to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

After more than five decades as two separate high schools on the same campus, West Bend East High School and West Bend West High School will combine to be one high school, West Bend High School. The change will take effect with the 2027-2028 school year Following a community engagement process, the West Bend School Board voted Monday, March 23 to approve consolidation.

The West Bend School District has completed borrowing the $106.25 million for all projects related to the facilities referendum approved by the district voters in November 2024.

All elementary schools of the WBSD have a full-time school counselor and school psychologist on the staff.

All five elementary schools of the WBSD scored either "significantly exceeds" or "exceeds" expectations on the Wisconsin DPI Accountability Report Card.
