Who We Are
At McLane Elementary, along with a staff that truly appreciates the diversity within our student body, our families are dedicated partners in their child’s learning. They embrace that being a McTiger is as simple as saying “Little Paws make Big Impressions." Walking through the halls of the historic McLane, you will find and feel a learning environment that is safe and welcoming.
Our Mission
We are committed to student success through collaboration and responsible partnerships with families and community.
Student Support
In addition to our core teaching staff, McLane also hosts teachers and other professionals such as a school psychologist, counselor, talented and gifted teacher, ELA and math interventionists, English Language Learning teacher, and speech therapists. Our Performance

In November 2025, U.S. News & World Report ranked McLane in the top 3% of all elementary schools in Wisconsin.
